Cody Banks is a your typical teen who loves to skateboard, hates math, shirks his chores and feels like a complete idiot around girls. But Cody's got a secret he's actually part of a secret teen CIA program. The new program was instated as a summer camp for teens whom have shown exceptional aptitude to the spy world. Cody's living every boy's dream life - he can drive like a stuntman, has an incredible arsenal of cool gadgets, and his agency mentor, Ronica Miles is totally hot. But a madman has who is bent on destroying America has enlisted the services of a scientist to create tiny little nano robots that can eat through anything including metal. So Cody is enlisted to go on a mission to try and get close to the scientist’s 15 year old daughter Natalie Connors and hopefully by doing so gaining access to her father. But Cody's training is put to the test when he poses at a prep school student because he can not talk to girls and gets totally tongue tied around them. From runaway cars and high-speed snowboard chases to a spectacular final mountaintop showdown, Cody has to use everything he's learned to prove himself as an agent and stop the evil organization ERIS-and maybe even get the girl.

Cheesy characters, cheesy villains, cheesy plot, cheesy acting and just a cheesy and lame movie all around. This movie appeared to be one of those made for TV movies that air on the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon that are so lame they would and should not be allowed to be in the theatres. Heck even some of its main actors like Hillary Duff who does a Disney TV show were included as part of the cast. I am pretty sure an eleven year old wrote this script for this movie, as I cannot begin to imagine how anybody but an eleven year old could come up with such a stupid and contrite movie. The world of Cody Banks appears to be viewed from that eleven-year-old perspective on such areas like high school, driving and what working for the CIA must be like. In fact the CIA scenes were so bad I wanted to hurl something at the screen, it takes the mind of eleven year old to think all they do is play with high tech gadgets and fight super villains. And the characters were so stereotyped in the CIA that you were not sure if they were mocking you. The acting was also atrocious I had never heard of Hillary Duff before this but I looked her up online to see if she was truly fifteen as she didn’t look it. And I came to the conclusion that she couldn’t act her way out of a wet paper bag. Also the cuteness that was Frankie Muniz has worn off really quick and its obvious that was his only talent. This movie is Spy Kids meet James Bond meet a very horribly done movie. If you are eleven you might feel like this movie is worth your time but if you are looking for anything that doesn’t test your fortitude not to hurl stay away.
