This movie can only be described one way and that is as a popcorn film of epic proportions. The movie while having some drama and suspense is all about the action and the adventure and cares not that at times it leaves epic plot holes. The movie could also be called a formula film about the revenge of a man that has seen everything taken away from him. But what makes this movie work is the charisma of its characters and how well they seem to work together. Vin Diesel has a charm and a screen presence that even in the worst of movies he would stand out and in a movie like this where it is all about gunfights, explosions and revenge he is in his element as he shines. Larenz Tate brings in the more dramatic role as he tries to be the calm demeanor in a storm of turbulence as he finds himself covering up for Vin’s indiscretions, as he seems to have lost all prospective of his actions. Also the two feed of each other very well and make the movie better when they are both on the screen. The movie does have its plot holes and even tries to throw a little twist at you in the end but that’s not what this movie is about, its about explosions, car chases and action. The movie is a thrill ride and an action packed punch that does a very good job at entertaining it audiences.
