Jim is a bumbling idiot at times and it seems like everything he does seems to explode in his face with scenes that always seem to make him look like a pervert. Michelle is an insatiable band chick that was brought up in a strict household that portrays nothing of who and what she is. They have been together since high school when her lusts and Jim’s bumbling made for some memorable moments. They once again hooked up after their freshman year of college in another set of sometimes obscene and always weird set of events. They have been dating ever since and seem very happy in their lives together. Jim and Michelle are just about to graduate from college but before they do there is one important thing that he needs and wants to ask her and that is if she will marry him. When she says yes she is about to set forth another set of weird and outrageous events as Jim’s friends are back again yet once more to try and bail him out of the trouble he always seems to get himself in. There is Finch, the one who thinks he is an intellectual and is always trying to achieve higher levels of enlightment. There is Kevin the rock solid friend that through his own relationship in high school helped Jim understand better where he wanted to be. And then there is Stiffler the loud mouthed, womanizing madmen that where he goes trouble and madness seems to follow. So now Jim has three weeks to try and set up the perfect wedding for Michelle who has always dreamed of the most gorgeous of days on her wedding. But this will be tougher then it seems as Stiffler always seems to disrupt everything and some of those weird events are about to occur again from a dance off in a gay bar, to Stiffler and Finch fighting over the same girl in some hilarious scenes. But as the day approaches Jim is not sure if he can finally pull everything to gather and give Michelle the wedding she wants and deserves.

This movie is full of the things that I have begun to hate in movies as it goes from one crude scene to another. But despite being full of the potty humor that is soiling Hollywood I could not help myself from laughing. I do not know what it is but the American Pie movies seem to have a charm that always sucks me in. Yes I grimace at some of the worst scenes and wonder why I ever came to this movie but I also laugh my ass off though out most of it. All the characters are familiar and safe from Jim to Stiffler and all of them have had some of the most familiar movie scenes in recent memory. You cannot help but like them and sympathize with all the crazy and insane things that keep happening to them. Some of the characters from the first two movies were noticeably missing such as Oz who was so vital to the story of the first one and was a big part of the movies. I cannot help but wonder if he was tired of doing such low brow humor that he just did not want to do a third installment. And Seann William Scott who plays Stiffler seemed a lot more forced in this movie then he has in the past, it might be simply because he actually had a more important role in the movie then he has ever had but at times he just did not seem to click. Honestly if you liked the first one and you liked the second movie you are going to love the third one. Even I who is tired of such films was won over and I laughed through out and enjoyed the movie very much. Go see it for a good laugh and remember to turn your brain off first.
