In Abyssinia, 50 B.C a princess who does not want to wed has arranged for her and her slave to change places and the slave to marry in her place. This will be done with a pair of magical earrings that allows two people to switch their essences and souls into the others body. But little did she know that she needed to reunite the earrings to get back into her body. Fast forward to the present day where a popular yet mean-spirited teenage girl Jessica Spencer sees the earrings in a mystical shop and wants them to wear with her prom dress. Even though the shopkeeper tells her they are not for sale she tricks the shopkeeper into selling them by switching them with another pair of earrings. But after being cruel to a man at a gas station she loses one of the earrings and he finds it setting forth the events that will lead them to switch bodies. The next morning Jessica awakes to find herself trapped in the 30 year old male Clive’s body with no clue how this could have happened. She instantly goes to her friend April to try and help her to try and get back into her own body. But along the way she will be faced with many new challenges in her new body as nobody at first believes she’s Jessica and she finds herself becoming her family’s gardener and trying to patch her parents relationship, her own relationship with her boyfriend, her relationship with her friends and the relationship she has with everyone else as she tries to get back into her body.

This is one of those movies that is so silly and ridiculous that is turns out to be hilarious. Just the thought of Rob Schneider in some teenage girls body is so ridiculous you cannot help but find yourself laughing at he absurdity of it all. Rob Schneider does a wonderful job portraying a arrogant, cliqued teenage cheerleader that you cannot help yourself liking this film as very few actors could have pulled of this outrageous part. This movie is like a Saturday Night Live skit gone mad as all the idiocy that can happen does as the hilarity ensues. This would be one of those films that you are embarrassed to admit you liked and one of those movies you must turn off your brain before watching. Not that this is bad just that sometimes a movie should be watched for the simple and sole reason of entertaining you and not have to be something that is thought provoking or deep. This movie is neither of those things but instead is entertaining, funny and quite unique and original as it will make you laugh and shake your head at the sheer idiocy of it sometimes.
