So Miles is about to face his toughest case ever, all the while falling for the woman he is trying to bilk out of every cent she is worth before he can solve where is life is going and where he wants it to be going.
Sometimes you expect the unexpected in a movie, which just makes it not that unexpected at all. You knew the movie was going to try and twist you and confuse you but unless you are completely fooled by them the ending is absolutely no surprise, which defeats the purpose entirely. I can see why some people might rave about this movie, not to be sexist but woman especially as it has charm, it has wit, it has humor and it just seems to have intelligence about it that you would not expect. Yes, here is where I insert the but, the movie just seemed to be so self enamored to itself that it made me want to gag. They knew it was charming, they knew certain demographics would love it, and they became so full of themselves with this knowledge that at times they forgot to keep making the movie and actually progress the plot and story. This ended up with the middle of the movie becoming long winded to put it nicely, and to put it more directly utterly boring. There was a good half hour in this movie that was not interesting, was not charming and was a complete failure as they lost me for the rest of the movie because I simply stopped caring. Yes, I laughed. Yes, I was charmed at times. Yes, the movie was adequate and a good filler on a slow afternoon. But no to the fact that I would ever want to see the movie again as I don’t think I could endure that middle part again. So if you are that certain demographic this movie is obviously aiming itself for you will probably love the movie but if you are not you may find yourself wondering when the movie is going to end.
