John (Brad Pitt) and Jane Smith (Angelina Jolie) are an ordinary suburban couple with an ordinary, lifeless suburban marriage. But each is hiding something the other would kill to know: Mr. and Mrs. Smith are actually highly paid, incredibly efficient assassins, and they work for competing organizations. Mr. and Mrs. Smith discover a new source of excitement in their marriage, when they're hired to assassinate each other... and that's when the real fun starts. The result is the ultimate action spectacle, as Mr. and Mrs. Smith put their formidable skills to work and their marriage to the ultimate test.

What made this movie so good were all the little things, it was the sum of all the parts and not the whole of the movie that entertained you so well. There are just funny little tidbits throughout the movie that make you laugh, that make you smile, that make you just absolutely love this movie. It’s the calm between the storms; it’s the little moments between the action and the next gunfight that keep you glued to your seat. The story is simple a married couple of six years who finds out that they both have been leading lives of duality and that they have more in common then they could ever imagined. But these are only a few of the things that me the movie so enjoyable. The dialogue is biting and witty, the humor is down right hilarious, the action is intense and the outcome is exactly what you would want and expect. The movie is a combination of humor, romance, and action all rolled into one ball of entertainment that makes the movie one of the best of the year.

Despite all the publicity good and bad Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are and were the best actors for this movie. They are both charming, they are both mesmerizing and they both give the performances of their career. The chemistry between the two is undeniable, you can see them as a married couple, you can also see them in gunfights and car chases and anything else you want to throw at them. What more could you want from you leading actors then for them to so easily slip into the characters they are suppose to be playing. You want to cheer for them, you want to root for them and you end up doing so. Brad Pitt stole the show at times though as he gives their relationship the humor it needed as he throws his little tantrums throughout the movie. It is his use of body language at times that has you in the aisles rolling with laughter. The movie was fun, its was action packed, and in the end it was one of the most entertaining movies of the year and a must see.
