A group of gamblers in a famous Las Vegas casino are about to have the chance of a lifetime to win $2 million dollars. The gamblers vary in gender and race and there relationships including a mother and daughter and two brothers. They are the lucky winners of special tokens in the slot machines and the casino owner Donald Sinclair informs them that they are invited to participate in a race: the first of them to reach Silver City, New Mexico, will receive the $2 million cash prize. To make things interesting, there are no rules, which leads to the commandeering of a bus, a run-in with Nazis, the use of a high-speed experimental car, and revenge on a cheating boyfriend. But that's just the beginning. In the meantime, the participants are really part of a bigger plan: a group of high rollers are betting on which of them will win the cash. So in a race where there are no rules and all the participants can and will play dirty the game is about to just get interesting. But along the way the racers will learn that there is more important things in life than just money and that sometimes it is not fun to be played as a pawn for someone else game. But this will not stop them from doing anything and everything to win the race as the prize at the end is worth almost anything to get it.

This movie has one of the most stellar casts put together in a long time and reminded me of old movies during the 50’s and 60’s when the best actors and actresses in Hollywood would work together to put together some very memorable films. This movie also has been dubbed the mad, mad, mad world of today’s generation as it takes a lot of its comedy bits out of that famous and very funny movie. This has to be one of the funniest movies that has been made in at least 10 years. It is chock full of one funny moment after another that keep you laughing almost uncontrollably. This is the type of comedy that has been needed in quite some time as a buffer to the trend of gross humor movies that have flooded Hollywood lately. The movie rarely resorts to gross out humor but does not escape it entirely. It was quite refreshing to see a movie that remembered that you do not have to gross out your audience to be funny but rather can be just as hilarious using prat falls and really good acting. The movie is an absolute riot and a rare gem of a movie in today’s world of comical movies. The movie does tend to go overboard at times and play too much of one comical angle but the movie is so hilarious that we can forgive a few of the lesser moments. This is a must see for everyone and a movie that is so funny that even a second viewing will keep you rolling in the aisles with laughter.
