Another mixture of James Bond and Chinese martial arts meet again. Like the Bourne Identity it mixes in the beautiful scenery of Europe to give it the feel of a ambiance while throwing you into to a fast paced and highly violent movie. This is a perfect popcorn movie there is little plot to speak of and the movie is meant to be more of a fast paced action flick for the eyes. This it does a very good job at the acting while not superb is done well enough to keep you entranced one scene after another. The action is so fast paced its hard not to get engrossed in the movie as it worries little about setting up plot or characters. The martial arts and stunts reminded me a lot of a Jackie Chan movie, as they were quite well done they did have a tendency to mix in stunts and objects into the action. The one down fall of the movie is that it never really sets up a villain to go along with Frank Martin the Transporter. An antagonist would have made this really good movie even better. The movie does have a few twists and turns as you go but even though you may be surprised they really don’t affect you that much since they never developed a plot. The movie also mixes in a liberal amount of humor I found myself laughing many times in the movie as well as did the rest of the audience. If you are looking for a fast passed action flick and don’t really want to get to involved into a too in depth movie this is the one for you.
